There are few better marriages than film photography and automotive subjects.

I hold my hands up – I am not a car guy.

I don’t know how to fix an engine, and when my car starts having issues I take it to a real man. I did not grow up fascinated with cars and, realistically, I wouldn’t consider spending loads of money on them.

However, there’s something to be said about shooting cars, especially vintage models, on film.

I don’t know what it is, but something just works.

So, if I am out and about and happen upon a car that catches my eye, I always try and get something out of it.

Most of these shots are from London, as there are just so many amazing cars kicking about boroughs like Marylebone and you can capture multiple different sets in an afternoon with no planning.

Anyway, hopefully you find some you enjoy.
